Accident and Incident Resilience Training for Managers

Resilience is the ability of an organisation and the individuals within it to meet the pressures and demands of emergency situations.
Where incidents such as this occur it is vital that organisations have a prepared response plan to meet all contingencies. This ranges from completion of a risk assessment, crisis mitigation and business continuity planning.
Our accident and incident resilience programme for managers addresses all of this issues as well as preparing the organisations management team for the emotional and psychological issues involved in responding to emergencies.

This course is designed for managers who may have to deal with emergency incidents as part of their role including serious accidents and traumas affecting employees

Delivery and Duration

The programme is delivered over two and a half days. The first two days are classroom based and develop the underpinning knowledge and skills of the learners.
The final half day is a table top scenario based exercise based around a fictitious emergency situation specific to the organisation.
The course is delivered through a combination of lecture based theory, group discussions are delivered through realistic role based scenarios and controlled role play.
