Get your Door Security Procedures PSA licence in just 4 Days of classroom - based training in The Ivy Tower, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
ICSE’s QQI Level 4 Door Security Procedures course covers the skills, knowledge and theory required by participants to prepare them for working in the night time economy as a door supervisor.
A Door Supervisor licence is also required for work at sporting events, concerts & festivals.
Following successful completion of the programme, learners may use this qualification to apply for licensing under the PSA Door Supervisor (licensed premises) Licence category.
This programme is delivered through blended learning with 30 hours direct contact and 70 hours indirect. The direct contact aspect is classroom based
while the indirect is delivered through pre course work, study time, practice and reflection time.
Pre course work is comprised of a home study component which covers the more theoretical aspects of the programme. The more practical aspects including skills development are addressed during the direct contact sessions.
Course Requirements
Participants are required to bring the following on the training day:
- Their PPS number (for course documentation).
- Two recent personal passport size photographs. (These photographs must have been taken within the last twelve months, and participant’s names must be printed on the back).
- A photocopy or scan of participant’s ID such as Driving Licence or Passport.
